and Bereavement Letter from Hospital

Below is a picture of Jessica Lynn Demers (deceased). (Also see the letter of bereavement from the hospital photographer, below.) She was stabbed by Dr. Grant who attends Central United Methodist Church (CUMC) in Meridian, Mississippi (as referenced in article regarding Pastor Steve McDonald--see link at very bottom of article, after photo and letter*). 

We know it is a shocking picture, especially to see the stab wound to the baby's head.  But imagine how terrible it was for the mother to have the doctor do what he did, and then, in addition, to act so terribly to her at Central United Methodist Church...and, think how terrible it must have felt for the parents to have people imply and openly state that it never happened.

Can you imagine what it must be like to go through what the Demerses went through and then to have people say that it must not be true, simply because the Demerses didn't sue?

The Demerses have given up their fortunes to serve God.  If they had sued, they would have had an open and shut case and would have become wealthy again.  God did not direct them to do that, and court cases are tremendously time consuming. This was not what they believed God wanted them to do with their time.

It should be noted that Dr. Grant has never apologized for what he did at the hospital or what he did at the event at Central United Methodist Church.  Further, no pastors or officials from that church have ever apologized to the Demerses for that event, although there are numbers of private individuals who from CUMC including, but not limited to, a retired professional businessman, a US Navy commander, and a medical doctor who said that they couldn't understand why Pastor McDonald did what he did to Pastor Demers and his wife.  To this day, the present pastor (who replaced the man who had the problem with pornography) is rude to Pastor Demers and his wife.
