BERACHOT’S COMMENT: 

My understanding is that Pastor Demers began putting down on paper his thoughts for this letter on June 27, 2009.*

*Interestingly enough, they are some of the same thoughts that he expressed at a similar point in the persecution against Christ’s Church In Action (CCIA of Mt. Zion) in a cable television show that was produced by The Arm of Justice and broadcast in the State of Rhode Island on March 2, 1993.  At Pastor Demers’ suggestion,  I have just recently reviewed the archived tape of that show.

Dear Berachot:

I would like you to consider suspending your exposure of the hate crimes committed against Christ’s Church in Action, its members, attendees, and associates, my family, and myself.

                I truly appreciate and understand your desire and the efforts of The Arm of Justice to:

1)      Get the proper authorities to act according to law;

2)      Arouse public opinion as to the terrible things done to us;

3)      Expose the truth to preserve our lives;

4)      Try and get relief for the people of the church, ourselves, and our children.

Yes, Patti and I truly appreciate all you have done and are attempting to do.  But, Berachot, my warrior friend, let me attempt to explain…

Justice is from God…

                                as is affliction…

And persecution and affliction are part of the territory for all who choose the path of righteousness.

                “And indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”  2 Timothy 3:12                       

For you, one who doubts even the existence of God…and yet has a sense of justice and integrity, I know you struggle with the dilemma of why Christians and Jews in the “Bible belt” are doing all these things to us…and further, that all the so-called “believers,” even those in authority, are standing by, doing nothing to help.

My friend…this is expected.

In the Book it says:

                “...the whole world lies in the power of the evil one” (1John 5:19), and

                “...everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin” (John 8:34), and that those people are

                “…held captive by (the devil) to do his will” (2 Timothy 2:26), and

 ONLY A FEW will find the path to eternal life:

“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.”  Matthew 7:14

As hard as it may be for you to understand, the powers of darkness controlling the world control even the so-called Christian who is in sin and not really believing in the Name or sovereignty of the Word of God. [1] (Revelation 19:13)

Yes, their Book says:

                “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you,” (Luke 6:31) and

                “Don’t lie,” (Leviticus 19:11, Colossians 3:9, Ephesians 4:25, Zech. 8:16) and

                “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11)

But they are not true believers in the authority of Jesus—His Word—the Will of God.

And as the Pharisees did, they all talk it…but are not walking it and are thus perishing in their folly.

The sad result is:  my choosing to really follow Jesus Christ is automatically hated by them.

“You will be hated by all because of My Name.”  (Luke 21:17)

Think…

                Normally good people

                                                -Elected officials

                                                -Police

                                                -Pastors

                                                -Community leaders

                                                -Media movers

 …have all been involved in the hate crimes, either directly or indirectly…many actively, most passively.

Why…why are normally good people acting this way?

Because my work is the restoration of God’s church…and when she, the bride, makes herself ready (is restored), she will be walking in the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Today’s “Christians” are so in name only.

They are worldly, materialistic, and have no understanding of God’s authority in the church, family, or even in God Himself.

They arrogantly believe a collection of competing doctrinal sets called denominations[2], and try to hide behind the ecumenical lie of “it’s okay—we agree on the basics,” ignoring what God says in 1 Corinthians 1:10: “Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree, and there be no divisions among you, but you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

Thus they are given over to the control of God’s enemy, just the way Judas was, who was normally a good man but for his sin of pilfering[3].

You see, these so-called Christians also have sins (not just in their flesh) that they continue to execute in defiance of God’s spirit and will, opening them up to the control of the devil, as per John 8:34 and 2 Timothy 2:26.

Yes, this is a malady of any man who refuses to accept that the blood of Jesus can make us perfect in conscience, and that we can stop sinning and be as holy as the Father in our behavior (1 Peter 1:14-16, 1 Corinthians 15:34), and be as perfect[4] or complete or mature as Jesus (Ephesiahs 4:11-13-14), and walk as Zacharias and Elizabeth in Luke 1:6. [5]  (One wonders what those so-called Christians think “a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough” means.[6])

Remember the crowd condemning Jesus, including many normally good people, and, during the Holocaust, how many normally good 

                -Men and women

                -Clergy and laity

                -Government and body politic

                -Devout and profane

…collectively and individually acted in the same way they are acting in Meridian as they did with us in Rhode Island years ago…some actively harming, some aiding and abetting, and the rest frozen in fear, or apathy, or both.

Berachot, they cannot help themselves.   (Read Acts 6:9-13, 7:1-60, John 8:1-59, Acts 21:27-36.)  They are slaves of their own sin and held captive.

These things are happening to me as an apostle (messenger) to the people in this age—what they (accurately) call the end times.

Ironically, it is a message for them…and would only benefit them.   It is the very knowledge that God spoke of when He said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”  (Hosea 4:6)  ...a knowledge they are so sorely lacking because of Isaiah 56:11, which talks about the shepherds (pastors):

                “And the dogs are greedy, they are not satisfied

                And they are shepherds who have no understanding;

                They have all turned to their own way,

                Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one.”

ALL…to the last one.

I’m preaching the same message of righteousness that has been preached from the beginning, and all those who preach it are persecuted, as was our Master Jesus also.

Do I bring anything new?  NO.  Anything of mine?  NO, I have nothing and am nobody.

I am but a servant or messenger of the King…bringing the truth of His already spoken and published Word to the collective consciousness of those called by Him.

Sadly to say…

                                Only a few will see (find) the calling (Matthew 7:14).

And of those, only a few will do it.

                Matthew 22:14 says:  “…many are called, but few are chosen.”

A few of the few will reside eternally in life with Him… the real few.

If a few is 3/100, then a few of the few is 3/100 x 3/100 or 1/1,000.  Thus the overwhelming majority will always be the persecutors of God’s chosen.  And, not one government official has, as of yet, gone against the majority and survived.

You see, we are re-building the temple made without hands.  Jesus, the cornerstone, is laid and sure.

The apostles are the foundation stones, and those chosen (the called who actually DO God’s Will and thus become the chosen) are the stones that make up the rest of the house.   (See 1 Peter 2:4-5.)

We must prepare and complete the way[7], so Messiah can return to rule a ready bride.

As with the Old Testament type…when God’s chosen attempted to rebuild the temple of Solomon, the

                                -Government people

                                -Prominent people

                                -Clergy

                                -Lawyers

…stopped the rebuilding of God’s temple by force, even though God had sent His chosen to build it.

God had to intercede to replace the other king (and adversary) with Darius, who, though not a believer, submitted to God, and ordered everyone to leave God’s people alone, and allow them to do His work in rebuilding the temple.

As Ezra was, we are totally powerless[8] before:

·         The majority;

·         The “money people”;

·         The community leaders;

·         The government;

·         The clergy of the apostasy.

As people always say, “Ya can’t fight city hall.”

But we are not dead…and we are continuing to march…and if our Commander and King chooses mercy and to begin to restore His church in this generation…

                then His power will be manifested to all…

                                and the work will prevail.

Either way, Patti and I, whether we glorify Him in life or death, whether we please Him in success and perseverance to the end, as the utter failures we are…

whatever happens will be His Will.

I will continue to hope for His mercy on our persecutors and those whom they are keeping us from…

It should be interesting for all of us to see what God will do next in (or to) Meridian, for we ourselves are powerless until He moves.

Berachot, I know your heart…

                                                Thank you.

                                                But please try to understand…

If this generation is lost… they will succeed in killing me or otherwise silencing me, or, as they are attempting, slandering me so much that no one will listen.

But if our Father is merciful and chooses to allow—yea, want—the work to continue…His enemies will fall.  Their plots and slanders will fail.  He will replace those removed, and give the same directives as Darius, and we will then complete His work.

I am ready to die by violence, and if thwarted in my work and I die a natural death, I shall still attain my reward.

Yes, it is heart-wrenching to see them harm my children and wife in attempts to discourage me.

And, yes the tears and fear in the little ones in the church is hurtful.  But I accepted the calling, and with it the heartache
(2  Corinthians 11:23-28, 2 Corinthians 2:4, Acts 20:19, Acts 20:31, Acts 20:23, also Acts 14:19).

But, I persevere and hope for His mercy.  Then the restoration of His temple built without hands can begin in earnest in our time and in this city—Meridian, Mississippi.

My Jewish compatriot, I know it is this very issue that has caused you to lose your faith—the seeming lack of justice for us…implying to you His lack of concern or existence.  But…God is not slow about His promises (2 Peter 3:9).   Be patient.   My hope is for God’s mercy…and the manifestation of His hand…while you are still in the land of the living…

Please consider my request…please share with me your thoughts.

Please consider hope to replace your doubt.

There is a God, Berachot.  The God of

                                                                                Abraham

                                                                                Isaac

                                                                                and Jacob

…the Creator of the Universe, and He has sent His Son, (the Word) Who was crucified, died and was buried… but Who is risen and sits at the right hand of the Father…and is waiting for His bride to make herself ready, so he can return to rule with her.

Hope…oh yes, my dear lost brother.  Let your despair turn to hope.  I await your reply.

P.S.  Many, including you, have said to us, “Why don’t you sue?”  As we have already shared—listen, all the world is in the power of the enemy, and the vast majority (all but the few of the few) are perishing—including  judges, lawyers, tribunals, jurists, and juries, and thus are slaves of sin.

Think—how have judges and jurors and lawyers acted throughout history in real persecutions?

                -Early church

                -Biblical times

                -Jews in Europe in 1940’s

                -China today

It’s hard to accept, but the word of God is real…justice cannot come from unjust beings to those who seek the Justice of Truth.

Such would be futile—besides, winning would only hurt those we would like to help, and money is never the goal or the means to justice.

God is sovereign…He will bring the justice due…in HIS time, in HIS way.

We just must persevere in this milieu of slander, hatred, and threats of violence…

Berachot, I know you escaped all this when you left the faith and the church almost 3 decades ago…but be patient, and you shall see that we do not persist in vain.

                                God is…

                                His Word is true

                                He has sent it forth

                                                And it will not return to Him empty.

“So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”  Isaiah 55:11

Meridian is in the valley of decision, and it looks like Meridian has rejected the truth.   However, until God directs me otherwise, either by “taking us out” or sending us out (as in having us leave Meridian to bring the message elsewhere), we will wait on Him.

P.P.S.  My dear Berachot…do not think that all of your effort on your website was in vain.  To the contrary…it only proves the truth of the Word, and thus the existence of its author…our God.

How else could anyone explain the terrible lack of aid to the victims of such pervasive and heinous hate crimes…everything from the mayor’s involvement, and the governor’s abetment, to the individuals’ apathy and enjoyment?

All are acting as predicted by all the scriptures I‘ve quoted and referenced herein and throughout their source—the Bible.  Yes, Levine…your website has proved the Word of God.

Until God moves on some of them to act according to justice, law, truth, integrity, and ethics, I am afraid they can’t stop themselves, as Judas with Jesus, or the crowd with Stephen.
