Regarding the Media Blackout

From the time of the church burning until now there has been a nearly total media blackout regarding the crimes committed against Christ’s Church In Action.   Can you imagine a church arson that was not covered by the local television news or the local newspaper?  In The Meridian Star, fires are always on the front page, usually with a photo...In addition to house fires and the like, I have even seen a car fire and a trash fire make the front page of that paper...this was a CHURCH BURNING IN MISSISSIPPI, and there was NOTHING on the news or in the paper...THAT should tell us all something.  (See BERACHOT'S ANALYSIS for further insights into this.)

When Fredie Carmichael first came on as editor of The Meridian Star, he hadn’t gotten "the word" yet, so a few letters to the editor regarding spiritual matters got through. (See Articles and letters written by Pastor who has been attacked)

 Then, Crystal Dupre, the publisher of The Meridian Star, made this statement on several separate occasions to several of the victims:  “You’ll NEVER get the truth out in MY newspaper; you’ll have to go somewhere else to get the truth out.” 

Subsequently, she went even further than that...now, neither the pastor nor members/attendees of  Christ’s Church In Action can even advertise in The Meridian Star.  Crystal Dupre told her reporters that if they even talk to any of those people, they will be fired.  To this day, whenever Meridian Star reporters encounter Pastor Demers and his wife or others affiliated with CCIA, most of them are very rude, and some even use four letter words, and even non-reporting personnel, who heretofore had a good rapport with the Demerses and with others who attend the church, are rude and avoid them, even in social situations.
