QUOTE OF THE WEEK FROM LUCINDA JOHNSON

Lucinda Johnson, the Executive Assistant to Christ's Church In Action (CCIA) of Meridian, Mississippi, spoke with Meridian Police Captain Dean Harper recently.  Dean Harper is the one who is supposedly investigating Meridian Police Detective Andrew Havard, based on Ms. Johnson's complaint that Havard and the Meridian Police Department did not conduct a proper investigation into the arson against Christ's Church In Action.  (Her complaint contains a 35-page comprehensive report of the errors, negligence, and misinformation in Havard's police report of the so-called arson "investigation."  See POLICE FRAUD & DECEPTION, PART I: Details of Methodology of Mayor-directed, Police Chief-effected, Council-allowed Cover up Revealed!, POLICE FRAUD & DECEPTION , PART 2, and  POLICE FRAUD & DECEPTION, PART 3, which go along with Police Report-arson.) 

In this conversation with Harper, Ms. Johnson found out that he had not contacted a key figure:  Vince Vincent, former Meridian Fire Department Investigation Specialist who has left the city employ due to the corruption.  She found this out from Dean Harper himself, when she asked him:

 "Did you call Vince Vincent?"  When Captain Harper said no, she said, incredulously:

"Only a retard wouldn't contact Vince Vincent." 

Captain Harper said, angrily, "Are you calling me a retard?" 

Ms. Johnson simply repeated her statement:  "Only a retard wouldn't contact Vince Vincent."  

She added that anyone conducting a REAL investigation into this matter would contact Vince Vincent and Tim Miller. 

FYI:   Tim Miller was battalion chief at the time of the fire and shortly thereafter became Fire Chief.   As Fire Chief, he tried to assist the victims by calling in “the feds” (ATF) because the victims were not getting any help locally from the police. Unfortunately, the ATF lied and said that they couldn’t do anything about arson but only could deal with firearms or explosives.

Subsequently, Tim Miller told the victims that he was afraid to lose everything he had by coming forward and telling the truth.   He told the victims that not only was he threatened but that it was the Mayor himself, John Robert Smith, who “tore him up.”

Vince Vincent was the Meridian Fire Department Investigation Specialist at the time of the arson, but has since left the city employ, and he has also told the victims also that he is afraid to speak up because he could lose everything. (He said that he knows what "they" could do to him because he has seen it done to others.) His family has also made statements to this effect to the victims.

At this point in the conversation with Ms. Johnson, Dean Harper, instead of realizing the reality he was being shown, got angry and hung up on her.  Now, apparently, he is using this as an excuse for stopping the investigation into her complaint. 

I will now quote directly from Ms. Johnson, who wished to address this issue.  Keep in mind that she and her church have been the victim of hate crimes and persecution for years now and she has seen time and time again how the authorities pass the buck and use any means they can to avoid doing their jobs and bringing about justice.  She is the one who wrote, from personal experience, the 25 tactics document.  The fact that a police officer, a ranking one, no less, would use the fact that he felt insulted or had his feelings hurt by a victim of crime (one that he has been giving the "runaround" to and yanking around for months and months instead of just doing his job and doing the right thing), as an excuse for stopping an investigation into very serious crime, is terrible.  First, it's terrible that they would even do something like this, and second, it's terrible that this would even make sense to anybody to do such a thing!

 MS. JOHNSON'S WORDS: 

"Dean Harper has supposedly stopped his investigation into my complaint against Detective Havard because he is angry, claiming that I called him a retard. 

 "I explained the comment I made.  I guess Captain Harper could feel the feeling of:  'If the shoe fits, wear it.' 

"Terrence Roberts has said that I am just a 'dumb white girl from up North who doesn't know anything.'   Well, he may be right, but even a dumb white girl from up North can figure out that Vince Vincent and Tim Miller should have been contacted by Dean Harper long ago in this supposed investigation. 

"Now Dean Harper is angry at me (and/or Pastor Demers) and he's claiming that this is a legitimate reason for not investigating Detective Havard, even though Capt. Harper's own words were that what Det. Havard did was 'criminal police work.' 

"What kind of policeman wouldn't do the right thing just because he got bent out of shape at some words from one of the victims?  Well, here are some more words for you:  'moron, incompetent, criminal, corrupt.' 

"And how about this?  'Who are you kidding?  Harper, you and Dubose have been bouncing me back and forth like a ping pong ball for months with your stupid game.  I'm sick of it.  Why don't you, Harper, just admit that you are chicken, always have been chicken, and now you have been bought off by your 'sweet deal' (promotion to captain)?

'And as for you, Dubose, why don't you ever return my calls?  Who are you kidding?  You don't want to do the right thing, and you are nothing but a coward, liar, crooked, mayor's boy. 

'There ya go.  Sorry I'm not "politically correct," but that is no reason not to do your job!  What are you people DOING? 

'’And, let me ask you this...what was your excuse before I hit you with those words?  Y'all haven't done your jobs for YEARS now.  And, "Deano," who do you think you are kidding with that Joshua Powell lie?  Joshua Powell was ready to "blow the whistle" on everything that his mother and her church were doing, not just the fact that she gave the order to burn CCIA's building.  Assaults, use of guns, stealing (even trailers full of merchandise), etc.  They called themselves "God's Mafia."  I mean, come ON!!!  Havard should have JUMPED at the chance back then to get this information from Joshua Powell.  And you should have asked Joshua if he was ready now to blow the whistle, and you should have understood, with all of the dynamics and the other witnesses who have been threatened along the way, what kind of state of mind Joshua could have been in.  YOU'RE ALL DIRTY COPS, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU.
