QUOTE OF THE WEEK FROM ELECTED OFFICIAL IN MISSISSIPPI--THE ONE WHO CLAIMED NOT TO BE A POLITICIAN BUT A PUBLIC SERVANT

As you know if you have read TERRENCE ROBERTS OF NEW WINE MINISTRIES CAUGHT PRACTICING RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM! and CONFESSION! TERRENCE ROBERTS ADMITS practicing religious DISCRIMINATION!, Terrence Roberts  has said, in public, in front of witnesses (including his own father), that no one who goes to Christ’s Church In Action (CCIA) can go into his establishment (The Gathering Place/Sidetrack Coffeehouse in Meridian, Mississippi) because they are “the apostasy.”  Lucinda Johnson, Executive Assistant to CCIA, and Richard Lofton, a person who attends church and Bible study at CCIA but who is not a member, told Meridian, Mississippi’s mayor, Cheri Barry, that Terrence was banning them (and others who go to the same church as they do) from his restaurant, in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination because of race, color, religion, or national origin.

Mr. Lofton and Ms. Johnson had told the mayor that Terrence was violating their civil rights, and the rights of their pastor and other members and attendees of the church, due to his (admitted) religious prejudice, and that they thought she was going to be a different sort of mayor than the last one, and not allow that in her city.  Mr. Lofton’s and Ms. Johnson’s recollection was that the mayor told her she was going to ask Terrence if they could all go back in to his place.  But, recently, Mayor Barry told Lucinda Johnson that she (the mayor) had asked Terrence if just Lucinda Johnson could go into his place.

Terrence told the mayor “no,” and didn’t give her any reason or any details, and Mayor Barry accepted his answer and didn’t pursue it any further.   So basically, she just said, “OKAY!”

Then, she never told Lucinda Johnson or Mr. Lofton or any of the other victims about this conversation until she ran into Lucinda Johnson at a function about a month later.

When the mayor told Lucinda about it, she said, “I did ask, like I said I would, but there’s nothing more I can do…but you know I love ya!”

Can you imagine the mayor saying to someone, “You shouldn’t break the federal law, and the person says, “No, I’m going to continue to break the law,” and the mayor says:  “OKAY!”

What kind of a dumb little girl is this?

That would be like saying, “I don’t think you should hang the black people…and the person says, “NO, I’m gonna keep on hanging the black people.”  And Cheri Barry says, “OKAY!”

Or, it would be like in Nazi Germany, saying, “I don’t think we should fry the Jews,” and they say, “No, we’re gonna keep right on frying the Jews.”  Can’t you just see Fraulein Barry then saying, “OKAY!”

…and then going back to the Jews and saying, “

there’s nothing more I can do…but you know

I love ya!”
