JOHN JOHNSON of WTOK-TV, Meridian Mississippi

Pastor Demers talked to John Johnson regarding the situation where Bill McBride had complained about Christ's Church In Action's property at 518 41st Avenue (burned by arson).   Mr. McBride claimed that the church building was not tax-exempt, and WTOK had surreptitiously gone and taken pictures of the property and put it on the evening news with Mr. McBride's accusations.

When Pastor Demers talked to Wade Phillips of WTOK about it at the time, Mr. Phillips apologized to Pastor Demers and told the pastor that he (Phillips) should have talked to Pastor Demers about it first, to find out the facts about the building and its tax-exempt status.

When Pastor Demers mentioned this whole situation to John Johnson, Mr. Johnson said, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT."
